Q: What are my options for signing in to Fanatico?
A: When you want to sign in to Fanatico, you’ve got a few options:

  • Continue with Google: Sign in using your Google account for a quick and easy login.
  • Continue with Apple: If you’re on an iPhone or iPad, you can use your Apple ID to sign in securely.
  • Continue as Guest: Just want to take a look around? You can access Fanatico as a guest with limited features.
  • Log in with Username & Password: Prefer the classic way? Enter your username and password to sign in.

Q: How do I sign in with Google?
A: Signing in with Google is super simple:

  1. Click “Continue with Google.”
  2. You’ll be taken to Google’s sign-in page to enter your Google email and password.
  3. Once you’re authenticated, Fanatico automatically logs you in. If it’s your first time, we’ll create your account using your Google info.
  4. After that, you’ll be redirected straight to the Fanatico Home page.

If something goes wrong, like if you entered the wrong info, you’ll see an error message letting you know what happened.

Q: How do I sign in with Apple?
A: If you’re on an iPhone or iPad, you can sign in with Apple:

  1. Click “Continue with Apple.”
  2. You’ll be taken to Apple’s sign-in page to enter your Apple ID and password.
  3. After you’re authenticated, Fanatico logs you in. If it’s your first time, we’ll set up your account with the info from your Apple ID.
  4. You’ll then be redirected to the Home page.

If there’s a problem, like incorrect details or permissions, an error message will appear explaining the issue.

2. Onboarding #

Q: What happens after I sign up?
A: After you sign up, Fanatico will guide you through a quick setup process to personalize your experience:

  • You’ll choose whether you’re a “Fan” or an “Idol.”
  • Then, you’ll complete your profile by adding a username, uploading a photo, and picking your interests.

This helps us tailor Fanatico just for you!

Q: Why do I need to select if I’m a Fan or an Idol?
A: Fanatico is all about giving you the best experience. Whether you’re a Fan or an Idol, we customize what you see and do on the platform. So, selecting your role helps us show you the features that matter most to you.

3. Guest Access #

Q: Can I use Fanatico without signing up?
A: Yes! If you’re not ready to create an account, you can use the “Continue as Guest” option. This lets you explore Fanatico with limited access. But to get the full experience and save your favorites, we recommend signing up.

Q: What can I do as a guest?
A: As a guest, you can browse around and check out some content. However, you’ll need to sign up to access exclusive content, interact with Idols, and use all the cool features.

4. Single Sign-On (SSO) #

Q: What is Single Sign-On (SSO), and how does it work on Fanatico?
A: Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you log in to Fanatico using your Google or Apple account. It’s a simple way to sign in without creating a new username and password. Just use your existing credentials from Google or Apple to get started quickly.

Q: Can I switch between Google and Apple SSO?
A: You can choose either Google or Apple to sign in, depending on what you prefer. It’s easiest to stick with the one you used to sign up originally to avoid any issues.

5. Passkey #

Q: What is a Passkey, and how does it help me log in securely?
A: A Passkey is a modern, secure way to sign in without needing a password. It uses your device’s biometric data, like Face ID or your fingerprint, to verify your identity. It’s supported on most new devices and browsers, and it keeps your login details safe and secure right on your device.

Q: How do I set up a Passkey on my device?
A: Setting up a Passkey is easy:

  • For iPhone users: Go to “Passwords & Accounts” in your settings and look for “Set Up Passkey.”
  • For Android users: Visit your Google Account settings, navigate to Security, and follow the instructions under “Passkeys.”
